Chrystal’s practice extends into all areas of family law which include planning for separation, adoptions, divorce, custody, relocation, child and spousal support, protection from abuse, guardianship, pre and post nuptial agreements, marriage settlement agreements, simple and complex divorces, equitable distribution and enforcement. Chrystal started her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Peter O. Steege in the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas. She then spent a decade in a small boutique law firm in Sewickley, Pennsylvania where she was a general practitioner with a large concentration of family law cases. Unlike other family law lawyers, Chrystal served as solicitor for several municipal bodies, including the Boroughs of Conway, Freedom, Rochester and Baden, Leet Township, and the Municipal Authorities of the Borough of Leetsdale and the City of Aliquippa. She also represented clients in real estate matters including negotiating sales, preparing sales agreements, serving as a title agent, performing closings, litigating actions to quiet tile, securing variances and subdivisions and drafting easement and deeds. Chrystal handled a wide range of civil litigation as well including domestic disputes, neighbor disputes, landlord/tenant issues, personal injury claims, contract actions, estate planning and election law in Pennsylvania’s Court of Common Pleas, Superior and Supreme Courts.
From 2010 onward, Chrystal concentrated her career in family law. Her background strengthens her ability to meet the diverse needs of any client. Her vast experience in other areas of law enables her to represent high net worth clients whose family law issues often come with complex financial/business issues and other unique circumstances. She has extensive litigation experience having conducted many trials during her career and she continues her appellate work in Pennsylvania’s Superior Court where she established a landmark case which addressed the interplay between a parent’s right to privacy with regards to medical records and a child’s best interest in a custody case.
Chrystal is an experienced and effective lawyer that will carry you through this pivotal point in your life so that you emerge with financial stability and a renewed sense of control over your new life so that you and your children can flourish in the future.
